The economic strength introduced in this article mainly refers to the gross national product and does not involve other economic indicators. The military strength mainly refers to the composition and equipment of the army and does not involve the compilation and equipment of the Navy and Air Force. The statistics of the countries of NATO before 1980 are the gross national product, and the statistics after 1980 are the gross domestic product. The so-called gross domestic product refers to the value of the products and services provided by a country in its own country within a year and does not include the net income to foreign investment. The Warsaw Pact countries have counted both gross national product and net national product (net output) from 1981 onwards. The so-called net national product refers to the newly created value of live labor that a country puts into production within a certain period of time. It reflects the net result of the productive activity. The net output value of the entire national economy is the national income.
