阿克苏地区是新疆最大的水稻产区,水稻种植面积为全疆水稻面积的39.5%,享有盛名的阿克苏香稻即产于此.这里水源充足,土壤肥沃,日照时间长,昼夜温差大,十分利于水稻生育.但是,由于耕作粗放,管理技术落后,本区水稻单产一直很低,1983年平均单产只有366斤,比自治区平均单产低166斤,其重点稻区—温宿县单产也只有409斤,比自治区低117斤.
Aksu region is the largest rice producing area in Xinjiang, rice planting area of Xinjiang area is 39.5% of rice, the famous Aksu fragrant rice that is produced here.Ample source of water, fertile soil, long sunshine, large temperature difference between day and night, is very beneficial However, due to extensive farming and backward management techniques, the rice yield in this area has been very low. In 1983, the average yield was only 366 kg, 166 kg lower than the average yield of the autonomous region, and the yield of its key rice planting area, Wensu County, was only 409 kg , 117 kilograms lower than the autonomous region.
