油性磨削液(简称油液)能提高砂轮耐用度,但易于使工件产生热变形,并且可能引起火灾。水溶性磨削液(简称水液)冷却性能好,但砂轮易于磨损,且当使用CBN砂轮时,可能产生水解作用。为了使两种磨削液都扬长避短。日本某大学试验成功一种双液磨削法:磨削时向磨削区浇注油液,以保持砂轮精度,同时向工件浇注水液,以抑制工件的热变形,并消除磨削火花。
