For more than half a century, Chen laughed with patriotic enthusiasm and worked hard to develop our country’s early childhood education. As early as 1923, in order to open up a new road to early childhood education in China, he set up our Drum Tower Kindergarten. In this experimental field, he actively explored and conducted long-term scientific research. He wrote “The Study of Child Psychology” , “Family education” and other monographs, and wrote many children’s textbooks and extra-curricular readings, systematically summed up a set of new theories of early childhood education, which had a great impact on the domestic education sector.
