深秋时节,我怀着崇敬的心情,来到一个秀丽的山村——敬爱的彭德怀同志的家乡。彭总的家乡,在离湘潭县城近百里的乌石乡的彭家围子。四周,是葱茏的竹林,茁壮的桔树,挺拔的香樟,彭家围子象绿色大海上的一座瑰丽“小岛”。远方,连绵起伏的崇山峻岭,把它紧紧围住,那座陡峭宏伟的乌石峰,犹如鹤立鸡群,昂首挺胸,突出地矗立在那里。彭总旧居,是幢典型的湖南农村常见的瓦房,三间正房,两端各有一间横屋。门旁,雪白墙壁上的那副对联,显得格外醒目,左侧是“吊民伐罪”,右侧是“继往开来”,横额是“为民服务”。走进门,宽敞、整洁的堂屋正面,挂着许多彭总的照片,有的是在家乡土地上视察,有的是在和群众亲切交谈,有的是在天安门城楼上检阅……看到它,使人深深觉得,敬爱的彭总,时时刻刻都生活在人们中间。1958年深秋,一向与人民群
In late autumn, with a revered mood, I came to a beautiful mountain village - the hometown of my beloved Comrade Peng Dehuai.
