For those of us living in the Chengdu Plain for generations, Dujiangyan is a kind of food and clothing parent and a psychological barrier to resist natural disasters. In ancient times, Dujiangyan was the reason for the land of abundance. From irrigation to transportation, people from all over its shelter relied on “water and drought” from “human to” “unknown” (“Huayang Guoshi Shu”) Emotions are children’s feelings for parents, follow and be careful to wait. Today, Dujiangyan and its neighboring Qingcheng Mountain are treasures, from hydrology to humanity, from high mountains to trees, with ease and restraint, simplicity and harmony. It is like a warm jade for the surrounding cities - such as Chengdu - And, far behind, is the dream of the lover, but also to restrain the soul of the hidden place.
