英语词汇的习得是二语习得中的一个重要部分。如何提高词汇教学的效率是二语习得研究中的一个重要议题。基于模因和顺应观的研究让人们发现了词汇形成的一个重要规则是模仿和顺应。这使得数量庞大的单词之间出现了种种基于基因、相似性和模仿的联系,也使得词汇和社会文化得以关联。这为词汇教学带来了重要的启示。基于此,以英语中每年产生的新词为例,探讨英语词汇的形成是否具备一定的规律性,从而使得词汇的记忆变成一个与文化和语境相关的、有趣的、有规律的文化现象,而不是孤立的数量庞大的单词集合。
English vocabulary acquisition is an important part of second language acquisition. How to improve the efficiency of vocabulary teaching is an important topic in the study of second language acquisition. Research based on memes and adaptability has led to the discovery of an important rule of vocabulary formation as imitation and adaptation. This has led to a variety of gene-based, similarity and imitation links between a large number of words, and has made vocabulary and social culture related. This has brought important enlightenment for vocabulary teaching. Based on this, taking the new words produced each year in English as an example, this paper explores whether the formation of English words has certain regularity, so that the memory of words becomes a cultural phenomenon that is culturally and contextually relevant, interesting and regular , Rather than a large collection of isolated words.
