科学技术以惊人的速度和空前的规模向前发展,是20世纪后半叶引人注目的现象。它以巨大的威力、以人们难以想象的速度,深刻地影响着人类经济和社会的发展。当我们站在世纪之交的历史长河上眺望未来时,我们虽然还不能断定知识经济时代已经来到。但至少可以说,许多迹象表明,知识经济时代的端倪已经显露。伴随着21世纪一天天临近的脚步声,我们不难作出这样的判断:知识经济时代确实正向我们走来。
Science and technology are moving forward at an alarming rate and unprecedented scale, which attracted the attention of the latter half of the 20th century. With enormous power and unimaginable speed, it profoundly affects the economic and social development of mankind. As we stand on the long road to a historic turning point at the turn of the century, we can not yet conclude that the era of knowledge economy has come. But at least it can be said that there are many signs that the clues of an era of knowledge economy have been revealed. With the approaching footsteps of the 21st century, it is not hard for us to make the judgment that the era of knowledge-based economy is indeed coming to us.
