1996年,中共中央办公厅、国务院办公厅颁布了《关于深化教育改革全面推进素质教育的决定》,提出了“素质教育”的要求,而素质教育的一个方面就是要加强学生对中国传统文化知识的了解和修养。而《大学语文》课就是承担这个重要任务的一个基础课程。以此为目标,《大学语文》的教学要加强学生对古汉语兴趣的培养,加强学生对古典文学素养的陶冶,增进学生对中国古代礼俗文化知识的了解。通过这些教学方法和手段提高学生乃至整个中华民族的文化素质。
In 1996, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council promulgated the Decision on Deepening Educational Reform and Promoting Quality-oriented Education in an All-round Way, putting forward the requirement of quality education. One aspect of quality education is to strengthen students’ Understanding and cultivation of cultural knowledge. The “college Chinese” class is to undertake this important task of a basic course. Based on this goal, the teaching of “college Chinese” should strengthen the students’ interest in ancient Chinese, strengthen their cultivation of classical literary accomplishments, and enhance their understanding of ancient Chinese customs and culture. Through these teaching methods and means to improve the cultural quality of students and the entire Chinese nation.
