湖北省第九次党代会日前胜利闭幕,这次会议的重要议题是立足党的宗旨,以解决好关系群众切身利益的突出问题为重点,扎扎实实推进和谐湖北建设。党代会决定,经过五年努力,要实现“十个基本”的目标:基本建立统筹城乡的公共就业服务体系和促进就业创业的贷款担保体系,基本建立比较完善的社会保障体系和社会救助体系,基本建立覆盖城乡的卫生保健制度和医疗卫生服务体系,基本建立新型农村合作医疗制度、城镇居民基本医疗保险制度和惠民医疗服务
