针对北亚造山带及蒙古国的形成和演化过程,本文整理和分析了近年来北亚造山带及蒙古国构造演化方面的研究成果.研究表明,北亚造山带及蒙古国的形成过程十分复杂,针对北亚造山带的形成,提出了软碰撞模型、增生楔模型、印度尼西亚式模型等,各个模型均在一定程度上解释了北亚造山带的形成.蒙古国由众多地体拼贴组成,其构造演化大致可分为三个阶段,分别为:太古代(An)—新元古代早期(~850Ma);新元古代晚期—三叠纪(包括萨拉伊尔、加里东、海西和印支阶段)(~210Ma);中生代—新生代,其构造演化可与中国构造演化阶段进行对比.
