顺应广大人民群众的要求,总结近几年春运票价上涨的实际情况,2007年1月,国家发展改革委会同铁道部、交通部明确春运期间铁路客票价格不上浮、公路客运票价不再实行春运期间另行加价,得到社会各方面的普遍好评,认为这是政府构建社会主义和谐社会、认真听取群众呼声的具体举措,体现了执政为民的理念。
