晋商兴起的原因和衰败的原因是复杂的。然而,一事物的兴衰必有其最主要的历史原因。传统文化造就了中国是一个官本位国家,晋商的兴起首先是由于它和明、清政权的密切联系,同时由于军事战争的历史机遇。然而,政治与战争成就了晋商,也为它的衰败埋下了隐患。清政府的腐败、对晋商的搜刮、以及自鸦片战争以后一次又一次的军事冲突,给晋商以毁灭性的打击,最后迫使晋商退出历史的舞台。
The reasons for the rise of the Shanxi business and the reasons for the decline are complex. However, the rise and fall of a thing must have its main historical reasons. Traditional culture has created China as an official country. The rise of Shanxi merchants was primarily due to its close connection with the Ming and Qing regimes and due to the historical opportunities of the military war. However, the political and war achievements of the Shanxi merchants also laid hidden dangers for its decline. The Qing government’s corruption, the search for the Shanxi merchants, and the military conflict after the Opium War again gave the Shanxi merchants a devastating blow and finally forced the Shanxi merchants to withdraw from the stage of history.
