当今的史学研究已深入到人类社会生活的诸多方面,然而,从史的角度研究中外管理思想的产生与发展,以为我国社会主义现代化建设中的重要环节——管理问题提供必要的指导与借鉴,这无论在史学界还是在管理学界,都是一个崭新的课题。关学增、郭常英同志所著《管理思想史纲》(以下简称《史纲》)一书对此作出了可喜的探索,为我们拓开了史学研究中的一个新视野。 综观此书,其成功的开拓主要体现在以下几个方面:
