豫陕晋接壤区位于黄河中游,西近西安,东抵洛阳,南靠秦岭,北望吕梁,山环河绕,鸡鸣三省,地理位置十分重要。该地区蕴藏着极为丰富的矿产资源,有金、铜、铁、钼及石英石、石灰石、石膏等50多种,尤以盛产黄金而闻名,素有“金三角”之美称。接壤区内河流众多,渭河、汾河、南洛河等40多条河流在该地区注入黄河。因此,该地区在三省国民经济发展和黄河的治理开发中都具有十分重要的地位。

The border area between Henan, Shaanxi and Shanxi is located in the middle reaches of the Yellow River, west of Xi’an, Luoyang to the east, Qinling Mountains to the south, Luliang in the north, mountains and rivers around the mountains, crowing three provinces, the geographical position is very important. The area is rich in mineral resources, including gold, copper, iron, molybdenum and quartz, limestone, gypsum and other more than 50 kinds, especially rich in gold and famous, known as the “golden triangle” reputation. There are many rivers in the bordering area. Over 40 rivers such as Weihe River, Fenhe River and Nanluo River are injected into the Yellow River in this area. Therefore, the region plays an important role in the national economic development of the three provinces and in the development and management of the Yellow River.
