从杂交群体中选择合乎理想的材料,是杂交育种工作的主要目标。至于如何提高选择效率,则是育种工作者十分关心的问题。往常,我们多依据表现型的差异进行选择,对于真实遗传引起的变异和环境条件的影响程度则不易区分。由于表现型包含有遗传和环境两方面的变异因素,有些在早期表现优良的材料可能随着世代的增加而又表现出低劣的性状,所以直接根据表型值选择,不一定能得到理想的效果。
Choosing the right material from the crossbreeding community is the main goal of crossbreeding efforts. As to how to improve the efficiency of selection, it is a problem that breeders care about. As usual, we often choose based on the differences in phenotypes, but we can not easily distinguish between true genetic variation and environmental conditions. Because phenotypes contain both genetic and environmental variations, some of the early well-behaved materials may show inferior traits with increasing generations, so selecting directly based on phenotype may not give the desired result .
