从上世纪80年代中期人民日报恢复国内地方记者站建制以来,国内驻地记者就逐渐成为报纸新闻产品的重要提供者。本世纪初,特别是党的十六大前后,更进一步明确了人民日报作为党的治国理政工具之职能与责任,也进一步促进了关于驻地记者工作发展的重视与思考。其时人民日报国内驻地记者仅几十人,却能为报纸提供近1/3的头版头条数量和全年5000篇以上新闻的总量,成为报社发稿的主力军。其后自2003年,报社连续实施
Since the People’s Daily reinstated the system of local correspondents in China in the mid-1980s, domestic correspondents have gradually become important providers of newspaper news products. At the beginning of this century, especially around the 16th National Congress of the CPC, the functions and responsibilities of the People’s Daily as the tool for managing state affairs by the party were further clarified, and the emphasis and thinking on the development of resident journalists was further promoted.
