新的英语课程标准中指出:学生学习英语的目的是要学会运用,提高社会交往能力,这种交往能力包括听说读写及运用等综合能力。因此了解中西方文化差异的地位就显得尤为突出,只有更多了解这两种文化的差异,我们的交际才能畅通无阻,不至于陷入尴尬的境地,也有利于在英语学习中少犯错
The new English curriculum standard states: The purpose of students’ learning English is to learn to use and improve their social intercourse ability, which includes the comprehensive abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and using.
