摘自《US Patent,№4915732》,1990 加拿大哈密尔顿的Stelco公司发现,用石灰、电石或类似脱硫剂进行铁水脱硫时,往铁水中喷射少量镁或其它具有类似作用的金属,可大大改善铁水脱硫效果。在低硫浓度(<0.015%)的铁水中,脱硫剂的脱硫能力会由于CaS+[O]→CaO+[S]反应而降低。当铁水含硫浓度降到0.015%时,若加入镁或其它氧化抑制金属,会有效地降低铁水中的氧活度,从而使CaS+[O]→CaO+[S]反应减少到最低限
From “US Patent, No. 4915732”, Stelco, Hamilton, Canada, 1990 found that the injection of a small amount of magnesium or other metal with a similar effect into the molten iron when hot metal desulfurization with lime, calcium carbide or similar desulfurization agent can greatly improve the hot metal desulfurization effect . In hot metal with a low sulfur concentration (<0.015%), the desulfurization ability of the desulfurization agent decreases due to the reaction of CaS + [O] → CaO + [S]. When the concentration of sulfur in molten iron is reduced to 0.015%, the addition of magnesium or other oxidation inhibiting metals will effectively reduce the oxygen activity in the molten iron, thus reducing the reaction of CaS + [O] → CaO + [S] to a minimum
