The Northwest Aluminum Processing Plant commissioned the φ960 × 1600 heavy-duty casting and rolling mill developed and designed by Xi’an Heavy Machinery Research Institute. For the first time, the foundry and hot rolling integrated in the design, and completed the new process on one unit. This is the first attempt in China. July passed the technical design review in the West. unit
