本文试图从统一的标准,评定目前常用的三种链路通信规程的部分主要性能。分析中涉及到的规程是:国际商业机器公司(IBM)的双同步通信规程 BSC 和该公司的同步数据链路控制规程 SDLC;美国 SPERRY UNIVAC公司的面向终端规程(以后简称 UNIVAC 规程)。通过规程的简化通信模型,并在平稳随机干扰条件下,分析了 UNIVAC 规程的消息同步概率,消息格式的信息率,规程的信息传输率以及消息的最佳长度。为了比较也给出了 BSC 和SDLC 规程的某些相应结果,最后并以误码率为参量,消息序列长度为横坐标,把有关的结果绘成曲线。
This article attempts to assess some of the key features of the three commonly used communication protocols for links from a single standard. Analysis of the rules involved are: International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) double synchronization communication protocol BSC and the company’s synchronous data link control procedures SDLC; the United States SPERRY UNIVAC’s terminal-oriented procedures (hereinafter referred to UNIVAC procedures). Through the simplified communication model of protocol and under the conditions of stationary random interference, the probability of message synchronization, the information rate of message format, the information transmission rate of protocol and the optimal length of message are analyzed in UNIVAC protocol. For the sake of comparison, some corresponding results of BSC and SDLC protocols are also given. Finally, the error rate is taken as the parameter, the length of the message sequence is taken as abscissa, and the related results are plotted.
