在元杂剧《杨氏女杀狗劝夫》与约翰·韦伯斯特意大利剧《白魔》刻画的兄弟矛盾中,正直纯良的弟弟孙华和马赛罗对属于过错一方的兄长孙荣和弗莱米耐奥分别采取了“忍”与“争”的态度,决定了两剧中兄弟矛盾的不同结局。他们的“忍”与“争”生动证明了中西古代经济形态、中西主流宗教文化和中西正义观等文化因素对戏剧创作的深刻影响。
Among the contradictions in the brotherhood depicted in the Yuan drama “Young Lady” and John Webster’s Italian drama “White Devils”, upright and honest brothers Sun Hua and Masailo, brothers and sisters Sun Rong and Flemish Neroy adopted the attitude of “tolerance” and “struggle”, respectively, and decided the different outcomes of the brother conflicts in the two dramas. Their “tolerance ” and “struggle ” vividly prove the profound influence of the ancient and modern economic forms in China and the West, the mainstream religious culture of China and the West, and the cultural factors such as the concept of Sino-west justice on dramatic creation.
