李书城,字晓圆,1882年6月24日出生于湖北潜江一个小乡村。1902年5月,李书城赴日本东京弘文书院学习,1904年春转入日本陆军士官学校。同年11月,孙中山、黄兴、李书城在东京相会,商议组织革命大同盟之事。1905年8月20日,同盟会成立大会在东京举行。会上,大家签名入盟,李书城也在盟约上郑重地签了字。1908年10月,李书城以优异成绩从日本陆军士官学校毕业,回到广西桂林与黄兴取得联系,积极参与革命活动,担任陆军干部学堂及陆军小学堂监督,主管教学工作。
Li Shucheng, the word Xiao Yuan, June 24, 1882 was born in Hubei Qianjiang a small village. In May 1902, Li Shucheng went to Hongwen College, Tokyo, Japan for study, and in the spring of 1904 he moved to Japan’s military officer school. In November of the same year, Sun Yat-sen, Huang Xing and Li Shucheng met in Tokyo to discuss the matter of organizing a revolutionary alliance. On August 20, 1905, the founding assembly of the League was held in Tokyo. At the meeting, everyone signed the Union, and Li Shucheng also solemnly signed the treaty. In October 1908, Li Shucheng graduated with honors from the Japanese Army Officer School and returned to Guilin, Guangxi for contact with Huang Xing. He actively participated in the revolutionary activities and was supervised by the Army Cadre School and the Army Primary School in charge of teaching.
