2008年5月19日中石油董事长蒋洁敏在辞任总裁职务的时候,对媒体表示,他代表中石油对A股的股民表示歉意,称中石油对不起深深被套牢的持有中石油股票的散户和小股东,但套牢这么多的股东不是中石油能够左右的,将来公司会以业绩和其他方式,对小股东进行回报。
May 19, 2008 PetroChina Chairman Jiang Jiemin resigned as president when he told the media that he apologized to shareholders of A-shares on behalf of PetroChina, saying that PetroChina apologized deeply for being a shareholder and a minority shareholder of PetroChina, But holding so many shareholders is not something PetroChina can control. In the future, the company will pay off the minority shareholders with performance and other means.
