本文通过对汉英习语深层文化内涵的比较分析,阐释中英两国在价值取向和审美意识方面的差异。只有了解和掌握两种文化不同的特色及文化信息,才能准确、恰当地理解和翻译汉英或英汉习语,真正实现跨文化交际。
By comparing and analyzing the deep cultural connotations of Chinese and English idioms, this paper explains the differences between the value orientation and the aesthetic sense between China and Britain. Only by understanding and mastering the two culturally distinctive features and cultural information can we accurately and properly understand and translate Chinese-English or English-Chinese idioms and truly achieve intercultural communication.
