G-tokyo是从日本艺术市场分离出来的,代表日本当代艺术水准的迷你艺术博览会,这么小规模的艺博会,可能在世界上难以见到。我是从日本艺术的泡沫时代就开始看和参加过这类活动,总结下来看,巅峰期是1990年那会,之后就随着日本经济雪崩一样下滑到今天,就再也没有起来。一转眼就是二十三年过去了,那时的情景记忆犹新。无论是由画廊业者组织的东京艺术博览会,还是比较纯艺术的博览会规模都非常大,我在那个时期确实看到不少欧美的大件艺术装置到日本展出,这是一
G-tokyo is a mini-art fair that has been separated from the Japanese art market and represents the level of Japanese contemporary art. Such a small-scale art fair may not be seen in the world. I began to see and participate in such activities from the bubble era of Japanese art. To conclude, the peak period was in 1990, and after that, it slipped to the same level as Japan’s economic avalanche until today. Twenty-three years passed in a blink of an eye, when the scene remembered fresh. Both the Tokyo Art Fair organized by the gallery industry and the relatively pure arts fair are very large scale. During this period, I did see a lot of big art installations in Europe and the United States went to Japan for display. This is a
