The city of Baku is home to humans since the Paleolithic. Baku City has focused on the continuity of various nationalities in the local culture, including the Zoroastrian, Sasanian, Arab, Persian, Shirvani, Turks And Russians. The city of Baku preserved a large number of defensive walls from the 12th century. Also in the 12th century, locals built the Maiden Tower over a building site from the 7th century BC to 6th century BC. Shirvanshah’s Palace, built in the 15th century, is a shining pearl in the history of Azerbaijani architecture.
