从黄河河口镇至龙门区间暴雨、输沙量资料分析表明,中水丰沙和丰水丰沙年份产生的较大和特大沙量是由最大24小时超过100mm暴雨造成的,用这个尺度衡量,70年代暴雨不少,强度也较大,而且多分布在北部水土流失严重区,但由于70年代以后水保措施起到了明显的减水减沙作用,因此,70年代河流总输沙量比50、60年代为小。其中黄甫川、孤山川、窟野河流域70年代的河流输沙量所以较大,是由于大暴雨多造成的。80年代以来,由于日暴雨量一般多在100mm左右,又多分布在南部水土保持措施较好地区,大量的水沙被截留,因此,造成80年代水沙量锐减。作者认为,今后如遇到上述类似的暴雨,河流输沙量是不会增加的。
