Victim’s Litigation Right and Its Legal Protection LI Ming SUN Guang-xin Criminal Procedure Law made explicit and specific provisions on litigant’s litigation right, litigation position and legal protection. First, it is clearly stipulated that the victim is one of the parties and the protection of the victim’s right of action is strengthened. Paragraph 2 of Article 82 of the new Criminal Procedure Law stipulates that “the parties mean the victims ...” Paragraph 4 states that "litigation participants are the parties
