建设社会主义新农村,是一个关系我国发展全局的重要战略举措,是一项长期奋斗的历史任务。在建设社会主义新农村的过程中,要从精神文明建设、物质文明建设两方面来抓。以人为本,科学规划,推进新农村的建设。民间传统体育是社会主义事业和精神文明建设的有机组成部分,在社会经济生活中占有重要地位。本文通过查阅大量的文献资料,从我国民间传统体育的发展入手,阐述了挖掘民间传统体育的意义,对挖掘民间传统体育与新农村建设的关系进行分析,对民间传统体育在农村的开展提出相关建议。
