有人说不便把我划成哪一类题材的专属画家。我本来就没有想过做什么专属画家,甚至没有想过当什么家。而由于兴趣太广泛,使我不能对什么都专一。我画画主要为了愉悦自己,当然也可愉悦别人——如果它可能的话。一切美的东西我都喜欢,花草树木、鸟兽虫鱼、山山水水和各式各样的人物。看到以后便想用一种艺术手段表现出来。艺术美也是人类欣赏美的一部分,而且是很重要的一部分。其实,引起我要画画的欲望开始还并不是自然界的美,而是别人的画和看别人画画——
