前中国作协广西分会副主席苗延秀,是当年延安鲁迅艺术文学院的学生,是广西侗族最早出现的现代作家和诗人。他的小说《红色布包》,是侗族文学史上第一篇革命小说。苗延秀虽然从小爱好文艺,但指引他奔赴延安,走上文学道路的,是红军的影响(红军长征经过他家乡)、谢和赓同志的教导(谢是三十年代中共党组织派到广西桂系搞抗战的地下工作者)和鲁迅思想与作品。鲁迅说:“革命的文学家,至少必须是和革命共同着生命,或深切地感受着革命的脉搏的。”四十年代初,他在伪军委西南运输处管仓库,就学着鲁迅写杂文登报刊,也替本单位工人写要求增加工资的报告。结果被军方警告为反叛,扬言要军法论处。他处境岌岌可危,必须尽快离开险境。到
Miao Yanxiu, former vice chairman of the Chinese Writers Association Guangxi Branch, was a student of the Lu Xun Art and Literature Academy in Yanan that year and was the earliest modern writer and poet in Guangxi’s Dong ethnic group. His novel “Red Cloth Bag” is the first revolutionary novel in the history of Dong literature.
