天津新港四港池三个集装箱泊位工程已经竣工,并于1985年11月26日天津市进行了予验收,将于12月12日进行国家验收后正式营运。四港池三个集装箱泊位工程一航院于1975年底完成初步设计,78年完成施工图设计,同年由一航局一处,四处进行主体工程施工,随后相继有八、九个单位参加了工程的建设工作。三个集装箱泊位前沿暗线长895米,能停靠两个1800和一个1000箱集装箱船,总设计能力为302680标准箱/年。平面布置:整个港区东西长近1000米,泊位纵深约403米,中间是集装箱大门和调度楼,西侧有后方装卸线和铁路交接库,东侧有公路交接库和卡车运输大门。空箱危险品堆场、设备维修站、集装箱检修站和冲洗场以及全部生活辅助建筑均布置在3号公路以北。陆域标高从集装箱码前沿线到后方进港公路以1‰的坡度上升。集装箱堆场各通道宽度为25米,保让集装箱大型头机械作业的安全。
