一个以机械化牛机械化、自动化半自动化为中心的技木革新和技术革命群众运动,正以排山倒海之势在全国各地广泛深入地发展着。作为国民经济各部门提供技术装务的机械工业,应当走在整个国民经济技术改造的前列。上海市机械工业也和全国各地一样,一个变手工操作为半机械化机械化、半自动化自动化的群众运动已经蓬勃地展开。在党的号召下,上海市机械工业的广大职工正在立大志,展鸿图,大规模地进行技本改造,千方百计地提高劳动生产率。不少工厂出现了人人动胭筋、人人有打算、人人动手干的热火朝天的生动局面。上海市机械工业局和各专业公司又及时地连续在各厂召开现场会议,把技术革命运动推向白热化,在3月初进行经验总结,以便推广交流。经过初步总结,目前已有一百六十多项认为是值得推广的,包括钳工机械化、单机自动化、自动生产流水线、皮带机床高速化以及新工艺新技木等。这些项目的共同特点是:结构简单,成本低廉,而生中效率则提高数倍至数十倍,它们将为我国今后全面提高机械化的水平,向自动化进军,完成和超额完成1960年的国家计划,实现新的全面大跃进打下有力基地。我刊在本期所刊登的7篇,系其中的一部分,以供读者参考。迄些姿料由上海市械机工为局供给。

They will fully advance the level of mechanization in the future, march toward automation, complete and overcommit the 1960 State Plan , To achieve a new comprehensive leap forward and lay a solid base.
