Robot,from industry into family
People's impression of the robot may still remain mostly in humanoid images in science fictions,which are able to speak and think.In fact,in real life,robots are mainly machinery devices doing automatic works,and is still far away from those humanoid ones good at talking.
Robotics is one of human's greatest inventions of the 20th century.At first,it was mainly used in industrial manufacturing.Although the appearance of the robot was unremarkable,their role should not be underestimated.They are widely used in heavy handling,automotive welding,precision assembly,road openings,deep-sea exploration,volcano exploration,space exploration and other fields.
The construction of these industrial robots are generally the same,mainly composed of three basic parts,body,drive systems and control systems.Body is the main base and implementing agency,including arm,wrist and hand,and some robots are even installed with a traveling mechanism.Most industrial robots have three to six degrees of motion,whereas the wrist usually has l to 3 degrees of motion.And their drive system includes a power plant and a transmission mechanism for causing the actuator to produce the corresponding action.In accordance with the programs input by people,the control system of the robot can send a command signal to the drive system and actuators,and realize the control.In simple terms,they are external mechanical,but the programs human set within them for certain situations with specific functions is their real"brain."
