珍珠除用作首饰和装饰品外,近两千年来一直是我国传统的名贵药材。然而,珍珠究竟含哪些成分,却一直不清楚。江苏武进县礼嘉天珍保健营养品厂生产出了能使珍珠在保全成分的情况下快速、完全地溶于水的速溶性珍珠粉,经中国科学院上海原子核研究所作极谱测检,发现珍珠所含成分为钙、铁、磷、铜、镁、锌、锰、碘、钼、钠、钾、钒等22种微量元素,终于使这个千古之谜真相大白。
