文艺批评毫无疑问是中国当代文坛一个成绩斐然的领域。十一届三中全会以来,一批又一批文艺批评工作者,在解放思想,实事求是精神鼓舞下,辛勤耕耘,勇敢开拓,为社会主义文学艺术事业的繁荣发展作出了应有的贡献。与此同时,在文艺批评圈子内外,越来越多的人对近些年来文艺批评中的某些现象产生了不同程度的不满和反感,常常啧有烦言。透过这些或冷静,或愤激的言谈,你可以感受到人们对我国文艺批评现状的某种忧虑和耽心。对于这些完全善意的关于批评的批评,包括笔者在内的广大文艺批评工作者要高度重视,深长思之。
Literary criticism is undoubtedly one of the most successful areas in contemporary Chinese literature. Since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), a batch of critics of the arts and literature, encouraged by the emancipation of the mind and the spirit of seeking truth from facts, have worked hard and pioneered bravely and made due contributions to the prosperity and development of the socialist literature and art. At the same time, more and more people, both inside and outside the circle of literary criticism, have had different degrees of dissatisfaction and dislike with certain phenomena in the literary criticism in recent years, and often they are annoyed. Through these or calm, or indignant talk, you can feel people’s anxiety about the status quo of our literary and art criticism and worry. For these completely goodwill criticisms about criticism, the vast number of literary criticists, including the author, should attach great importance to and think deeply.
