胡锦涛总书记关于树立社会主义荣辱观的重要讲话,是对马克思主义道德观的精辟概括,是科学发展观的重要组成部分,也是新形势下社会主义思想道德建设的重要指针。本文阐述了社会主义荣辱观提出的历史必然性;社会主义荣辱观的内涵和鲜明的时代特征;揭示了树立社会主义荣辱观是落实科学发展观、构建社会主义和谐社会的重要内容和基本任务,社会主义荣辱观为构建社会主义和谐社会提供强大的精神动力。
General Secretary Hu Jintao’s important speech on establishing a socialist concept of honor and disgrace is an ingenious summary of the Marxist moral outlook and an important part of the scientific concept of development. It is also an important indicator of the socialist ideology and morality in the new situation. This article expounds the historic inevitability proposed by the socialist concept of honor and disgrace; the connotation and distinctive characteristics of the times in the socialist concept of honor and disgrace; reveals that establishing a socialist view of honor and disgrace is an important content and basic task in implementing the scientific concept of development and building a harmonious socialist society. The concept of honor and disgrace provides a powerful spiritual force for building a harmonious socialist society.
