BACKGROUND: In recent years, there are more and more methods to prevent tendon adhesion by repairing tendon sheath. As a long-term application in human ophthalmology, human fetal amniotic membrane can effectively prevent adhesion and promote the healing of the biofilm, and has effect on tendon adhesion Objective: To verify the effectiveness of safflower injection preserved human fetal amnion graft in the prevention and treatment of tendon adhesion. Methods: 32 healthy broilers were divided into two groups: the foot flexor tendon, the left foot flexor tendon, and the artificial fetus amniotic membrane preserved in safflower injection after the end-to-end anastomosis of the left foot flexor tendon as the experimental group; Divided into two groups, the control group of the end of the line without endoscopic anastomosis without any membrane, the positive control group was implanted human fetal amniotic fluid preservation. After 4 weeks of aplastic cast immobilization, the biomechanical test of tendon gliding function was performed and the local histopathology was taken. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: In the experimental group, the left foot tendon healed at the stump, the tendon was formed with fibrous tissue, the periphery of the tendon had no obvious tissue adhesion, the recovery was good. The proliferation, adhesion and extents of the fibrous tissue in tendon were lower than those in the experimental group (P <0.05, P <0.01). The total flexion angle of the toe joint and the flexor tendon slip distance of the flexor digitorum fari were significantly higher than those of the blank control group and the positive control group (P <0.05, P <0.01). The results suggest that safflower injection preserved amniotic membrane is conducive to prevent the adhesion of the tendon rupture, which effectively promote the healing of tendons.
