土工织物是土木工程中一种新型建筑材料,它是以化纤为原料加工成型的。六十年代这种材料在国外出现,八十年代才引入我国。大家知道,应用天然植物纤维作为建筑材料,我国已有两千多年的历史。但它致命弱点就是易腐烂不耐久。五十年代,世界纺织工业发生了一场革命,出现了新型的化学纤维工业,各种塑料、化纤布充满了消费市场,而做为建筑材料的土工织物也脱颖而出。它替代和发展了天然植物纤维,并逐渐显露出不可比拟的优势。这种材料抗腐蚀、不怕霉、不怕虫咬、经久耐用、施工方便,克服了天然纤维的许多缺点。它不仅能用于交通、建筑、军事、环保和人民生活等方
Geotextile is a new type of civil engineering construction materials, it is based on chemical fiber processing of raw materials molding.
