SBM or IMODCO single point buoy terminals are used around the world, but this single point system has been used to deliver ore in Waipipi and Taharoa, New Zealand. The slurry passes through two submarine pipelines to the manifold connected to the buoy, and the two underwater hoses form a Chinese lantern. Between a single pontoon and ore ship through a floating hose transport ore. All underwater and floating hoses now in use are made by Dunlop, a 12-in. Diameter hose. The use of such facilities can hold 50,000 to 70,000 tons per month
