五峰土家族自治县位于鄂西山区,总面积2375平方公里,总人口近20万,属老、少、边、穷山区。自1984年以来,用全县统一设计的围产期保健卡,对孕产妇及3岁以下儿童为重点进行管理。形成了村为基础,乡为中心,县保健所为指导的三级保健网,争取各方面的支持,系统地开展了围产期保健及儿童保健工作。我们的具体管理办法如下:
