我国区域经济可分为四大板块:西部地区、东北地区、中部地区、东部沿海地区。东部地区在区域经济发展中处于领先地位。东部地区继续发挥统领国家经济发展龙头的引擎作用,并在发挥有利区位和改革开放先行优势的同时,重点推进制度、技术双创新,特别是原始性科技创新;将自主研发和有选择的海外并购相结合,提高研发起点。在转换经济增长方式、推进产业结构优化升级、走新型工业化道路方面走在全国前列,形成了以高技术产业和现代服务业为主导的地区产业结构。
