1987年3月中国科技期刊编辑学会正式成立后,为适应我国科技期刊的发展形势并促进编辑学理论的研究,决定召开首届年会.经过广泛的论文征集活动和一年多的筹备,于1988年5月21日至25日在四川省乐山市召开了中国科技期刊编辑学会第一届年会.来自全国的134位代表出席了大会,中国科技期刊编辑学会理事长翁永庆编审,四川省科协主席康振黄教授,中国科协原学会部部长、中国编学顾问谢东来同志,中共乐山市委宣传部副部长黄德润同志出席了开幕式并在会上致词.四川省有131位编辑同行列席了会议.
March 1987 China Sci-tech Periodicals Editorial Association was formally established, in order to adapt to the development of China’s sci-tech periodicals and promote the study of editorial theory, decided to convene the first annual meeting.After a wide range of papers collection activities and more than a year of preparation, in 1988 The first annual meeting of China Society for Sci-tech Periodical Editors was held in Leshan, Sichuan Province from May 21 to May 25. 134 delegates from all over the country attended the conference, edited by WENG Yong-qing, chairman of China Science and Technology Periodical Editing Society, Chairman Kang Zhenhuang, the former president of China Association for science and technology, the compilation of China’s Consul General Xie Donglai, and the vice minister of Propaganda Department of Leshan CPC Committee Huang Derun attended the opening ceremony and addressed the conference. 131 editors from Sichuan Province attended the meeting .
