50年前的今天，中国人民自愿军雄纠纠跨过鸭绿江。志愿军的入朝作战，迅速扭转了战争形势。到了 1951年 6月上旬，美韩军队从鸭绿江边退到“三八线”以南，战争进入相持阶段。为了加强志愿军的武器装备，中国人民抗美援朝总会发出了开展捐献武器的号召。湖北人民积极响应号召
Fifty years ago today, the Chinese people volunteered to rectify and cross the Yalu River voluntarily. The volunteer forces entered the war and quickly reversed the war situation. By the early June 1951, the U.S. and South Korean troops retreated to the south of the “March 8 Line” from the Yalu River and the war entered a phase of stalemate. In order to strengthen the volunteer army’s weapons and equipment, the Chinese People’s Korean War General Assembly issued a call for the donation of weapons.
