我国的陶瓷艺术有着十分悠久的历史。传统的陶艺作品大都是存放在室内空间中当做把玩和欣赏的艺术品,因此尺寸都较小。随着我国经济的不断增长吗,,人民生活水平不断在提升,城市化进程不断加快,在满足人们多元化的环境审美要求下,较大尺寸的环境陶瓷景观逐渐以质朴、简约、原始的艺术气息出现在公众环境中,丰富并影响了公众的视觉进而成为公共环境艺术中的最新艺术形式,突破了传统公共环境中食材、金属和水泥的应用形式。
