电视剧《西游记》主题歌《敢问路在何方》在中国已是家喻户晓了。这首歌自问世以来多次在国内获奖,1998年还获得法国“首届华人影视歌曲”雄狮奖。笔者一直想知道这首歌的创作情况。终于在一间狭小的办公室里,我同这首歌的曲作者许镜清聊了起来。“1983年我作为第十位候选者开始进入《西游记》的音乐创作。当时这首歌准备用做插曲,这是一首充满男人气质的歌曲。但在录音时,另一位作曲家的一首主题歌已选用了男声,我只好改用了张暴默,作为首唱,张暴默的演唱很有特色,她的声音柔中有刚,柔中有美,非常内在。”录完音之后,乐队和我以及演唱者,就像完成了一件极寻常又普通的任务那样平静。没人称赞,没人叫好。倒是有人表示不喜欢,认为《西游记》主要是表现孙悟空,应该幽默、活泼。也有人认
