可持续发展既是全球共同面临的发展问题,更是中国面临的发展问题。作为世界上最大的发展中国家,我国有13亿人口,农村人口占大多数,农业和农村可持续发展搞不上去,农民生活得不到显著改善,我们就不能实现全面建设小康社会的目标,不能实现全国的现代化,不能实现全国人民共同富裕,不能实现国家长治久安。全面制定农业和农村可持续发展的战略,是社会主义新农村建设的关键环节和根本保证,也是实现社会可持续发展的必由之路。
Sustainable development is not only a common development problem facing the world, but also a development issue that China faces. As the largest developing country in the world, there are 1.3 billion people in our country and the majority of the rural population. It is impossible for agriculture and rural areas to achieve sustainable development and peasants’ lives can not be significantly improved. Therefore, we can not achieve the goal of building an overall well-to-do society. We can not achieve the modernization of the entire country, we can not achieve the common prosperity of the people throughout the country and the lasting peace and stability of our country. To formulate a comprehensive strategy for the sustainable development of agriculture and rural areas is the key link and fundamental guarantee for the new socialist countryside construction and the only way to achieve sustainable social development.
