语言与文化密不可分,语言是文化现实的表现形式和象征,而文化则是语言形成和发展的基础和原动力。大学英语教学应适应国际化的需要,以培养学生的跨文化交际能力为己任,在教学中体现跨语言和跨文化的紧密结合,增强学生的跨文化敏感性,培养学生的跨文化意识,发展学生的跨文化交际能力。本文讨论了大学英语跨文化教学的内涵和现状,并提出了跨文化教学的原则和方法,旨在树立学生的跨文化自觉意识,培养学生的跨文化交际能力,从而解决跨文化教学中的实际问题。
Language is inextricably linked with culture, language is the manifestation and symbol of cultural reality, and culture is the foundation and driving force of language formation and development. College English teaching should adapt to the need of internationalization. It is the responsibility of students to cultivate intercultural communicative competence. It should embody cross-language and cross-cultural integration in teaching, enhance students ’intercultural sensitivity, cultivate students’ intercultural awareness and development Students’ intercultural communication skills. This paper discusses the connotation and current status of intercultural communication in college English and puts forward the principles and methods of intercultural teaching in order to establish students’ awareness of intercultural self-awareness and cultivate their intercultural communicative competence so as to solve the problems in intercultural teaching problem.
