浙江省安吉县海拔800m 的深山之中,有一棵罕见的自茶树,这棵白茶树已有100多年的树龄。近年来、科研人员采用扦插繁殖的方法获得成功,现在发展到3万多株,面积6.6亩,成为全国唯一的白茶基地,自茶以名贵传世,具有观赏、营养、经济三大价值,其色泽黄绿、形似兰花,泡上开水、清沏明亮,叶底还原成白色,高雅非凡。
